Walls

Some people you can talk to and some you just can't.

There are some you actually feel very happy with, except for little things like cliques and stuff. There are some you would hug even if you haven't seen them for a million years and have no idea what's going on in their life. There are some you see every day and don't want to hang out with. There are some you once trusted but don't anymore. Then there are those who you thought you'd never know, and are now your best friends. Some you really want to talk to, but you think they'll think you weird.

People are strange. Sometimes when you speak to them you feel a wall between you and them, constructed by one of you, except you don't know who. It prevents you from trusting them with your feelings and thoughts. Unless it's you who prevent yourself.

When you perceive others you don't really know if they feel the wall or not. Since you only see them from the outside. Feelings aren't always mutual, and everyone's a liar.

In the whiteroom world there are no walls but your own. A forest that shuts out all but those you choose to let in. An opaque wall so that those outside may not even know there is an inside.

In the real world everyone is subject to everyone else's walls. Feelings can be hurt. Hearts can be broken.
